Building your Family Law Practice with LAR and Fixed Fee Agreements
The panel will discuss how they have used LAR and fixed-fee agreements to help build their family law practices.
Some of the questions the panel will address include:
- What is Limited Assistance Representation and how do you get trained?
- Can any lawyer file a Limited Appearance?
- What types of cases are good to take on a Limited Assistance Representation Basis and which cases are not?
- Should you change your normal hourly rate for LAR cases?
- In what sorts of circumstances should you consider fixed-fee agreements and what are the range of fees?
There will also be a brief discussion about ethical considerations when using LAR and fixed-fees.
